TIM Terminal Connection (Worldline / SIX)

This guide describes how to connect a TIM terminal directly to Belbo. TIM (Till Integration Module) is the standard protocol for cash register integration in Switzerland. It was developed by SIX Payment Services and has been continued under the name Worldline since its acquisition by Worldline (2021). Other Swiss payment providers with ep2 terminals also support the TIM protocol.

In Belbo this option is called "TIM/SIX". In Belbo Satellite the connection appears as "Worldline Terminal".

Send vouchers via email to the customer

If you sell vouchers via the Belbo cash register, you can send the voucher to the customer as a PDF via email.

Examples of use:

A customer transfers you the amount for a voucher and wants to receive it via email.
A customer pays for the voucher in cash on site but doesn't want to take a paper voucher with them because they plan to give the voucher to a friend via email.

Checkout: Payment Overview

In the payment overview of your POS, you can view all payments from past months. This view is particularly useful for documenting payments made on invoice.

Referral Bonus

If you want to reward customers as soon as they recommend your business to friends, you can use the "Referral Bonus" feature. This feature is only available if you also use the Belbo Cash Register System.

You can access this area via Settings > Referral Bonus If this feature is not activated, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Feature".
