Tracking Code

If you want to track how many of your customers are using your online booking and scheduling appointments from a specific source, you can integrate a tracking code that will be displayed on the booking confirmation page.

You can access this area via Settings > Tracking Code
If this function is not enabled, you can activate it via "Settings > Add function".
Please note that when using the tracking code, you should update your privacy policy to include the purpose of tracking and details about the service being used.

You can obtain tracking codes from the respective service you use for tracking. These can be providers such as Facebook or Google, which you use for marketing activities.
You can add more than one code if you want to use multiple services.

Analysis of the Code

The code you insert is a product of another software manufacturer. Please note that we cannot assist you with analyzing the tracking code. There is a large number of codes that change regularly, which we cannot analyze for errors on your behalf.

If your code does not arrive in your desired analytics tool, please contact the code manufacturer's support! Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours before events appear in the dashboard of the respective analytics tool.

The code will be reliably output on the pages you specify in the tracking code module. You can verify this yourself by analyzing the source code:

  1. Open the desired page of your online booking. For example, to open the booking confirmation page, schedule an appointment with your own business.
  2. On the page, you can right-click in most common browsers and display the page source code.
  3. Search the page that opens for terms that appear in the code.

API Interfaces

You can integrate Belbo with other software products in various ways. In addition to ready-made integrations that you can simply activate from the feature list, such as calendar synchronization with Google, you can also programmatically create bookings and query data.

We distinguish here between publicly visible data, such as opening hours, services, and availability of services and staff, and sensitive data such as calendar and customer data. Publicly accessible data can be queried from Belbo via REST-API. You can find documentation of existing interfaces here: Belbo REST-API on Postman.

To query sensitive data, you need an API key.

You can access this section via Settings > API Access
If this feature is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Feature".

Once you have created an API access in your calendar under global settings, you can use the token to make queries. Basically, all interfaces are located under the URL with the following structure:

https://<YourBusiness>.belbo.com/office/api/<Name>?token=<Token>

🔌 Automations with Zapier

In addition to direct API usage, Belbo also offers the option to use events from Belbo via a Zapier app and process them automatically.

Via Zapier, you can subscribe to typical events from Belbo and integrate them into over 6,000 other applications to automate workflows.

These include, for example:

  • new appointment bookings
  • waitlist entries
  • appointment changes or cancellations
  • new customers or updates to customer data

These events can be used as triggers in Zapier to automatically trigger actions in other tools, such as:

  • sending emails or SMS
  • entries in CRM systems
  • creation of tasks in project management tools
  • synchronization with marketing or reporting tools

Zapier acts as a bridge between Belbo and other systems, enabling automations even without custom development. Technically, this is based on so-called triggers and actions that can be implemented via integrations or webhooks.

The Zapier event can be activated in your Zapier account here: Zapier - Belbo App
