We have extensive experience transferring your appointment and customer data from existing POS systems. Most POS systems offer good exports that can be imported into belbo. For systems that block exports or only offer them at a cost, we often have solutions to export the data anyway.

Switch from Salonware to Belbo

If you have been using the hairdressing software Salonware so far and now want to switch to Belbo, there is the option to transfer some data from your old system.

The Belbo point of sale system for hairdressers allows you to create GoBD-compliant closings. The online calendar enables your customers to book appointments themselves. To achieve as seamless a transition as possible, the following data can be transferred from Salonware to the Belbo online calendar for hairdressers:

The data downloaded in this way can now be imported into Belbo. You can do this yourself or contact the Belbo team at info@belbo.com if you would like assistance with the setup.

Transfer of GINI.POS Data

To save your data from GINI.POS system, you need to recover it from the database file. We provide here instructions on how you can save customer data, color formulas and bonus card balances.

Step 1: Find the MDB file.

Find the MDB file in your GINI.POS installation. The file has an MDB file extension and stands for Microsoft Access Database.

Step 2: Opening the MDB file

Open the MDB file in an MDB tool. This can be, for example, OpenOffice (Windows only) or a paid tool.

Step 3: Export of color formulas

Execute the following query:

select c.MandCode, k.Notiz, k.AnlageDatum, f.Notiz, f.Notiz1 from tbColorationFarben f

join tbColorationKopf k on k.MandCode=f.ColorationKopfID

join tbKunde c on c.MandCode=k.KundeID

The result generated must then be exported. You have the option here to export the results directly to Excel or to process them further in another tool.

Step 4: Import the color formulas - for example in

Then import the saved Excel file in "Settings" -> "Import Center" -> "Formulas".

Switch to Belbo

Belbo is a management tool for hair salons, cosmetic studios and fitness studios. This includes point of sale systems for hair salons, cosmetics and sports, a calendar with online booking and comprehensive additional features that make business operations easier.
If you want to switch from another system to Belbo, you can – depending on the system – export data to import it into Belbo.

Imports

Calendar

  • Customer data (Excel/CSV/XML)
  • Customer treatments (Excel/CSV/XML). Since treatments are to be added to specific customer records, there must be a unique identifier that is identical in both the treatment and customer import (internal ID, customer number, etc)
  • Appointment data (iCAL/CSV/XML). If past appointments are to be linked to the customer record, there must be a unique identifier that is identical in both the appointment and customer import (internal ID, customer number, etc).
  • Services with price / duration / competency (template for hair salons or template for cosmetic studios)

Point of Sale

  • Point of sale data from the tax office (download template)
  • Product list (Excel/CSV/XML – name, category, price, inventory, EAN code). If these are not exportable, product manufacturers usually provide such lists.
  • Old vouchers (Excel/CSV/XML – download template)

Import Center

In Belbo you can import data so you don't have to enter it manually.

You can access this area via Settings > Import Center

Certain types of files are required to import data. Depending on the type of import, these can be .CSV, .XLS, .XML or .ZIP files.

Importable data includes:
