Cash register operators in Germany must submit a cash register notification in accordance with §146a AO once on 31.7.2025 when starting to use each register. This notification can be submitted either through a tax advisor or through Belbo.
We currently charge a one-time fee of €39.00 for the cash register notification via Belbo.
Alternatively, the notification can of course also be submitted via the tax office. However, in the case of updates or changes, you would have to take care of it yourself, since Belbo would then not automatically process the changes.

TSE signature issues
If you receive an error message during the checkout process stating that a signature could not be created, you will find the reasons here and how to handle them.
First, an isolated failure to create a signature is not problematic. The signature is automatically repeated by the system in the background. If processing slows down, a receipt can be created early so that the daily workflow is not disrupted. A signature creation will then either be performed automatically later or can be accelerated by you by recalling the invoice at a later time: If no error message is visible, the signature has been recreated and correctly archived.
