If you receive an error message during the checkout process stating that a signature could not be created, you will find the reasons here and how to handle them.
First of all, an isolated failure to create a signature is not problematic. The signature is automatically repeated in the background by the system. If processing slows down, a receipt can already be created prematurely so that the daily workflow is not disrupted. A signature will then either be created automatically later or can be accelerated by you by calling up the invoice again at a later time: if no error message is visible then, the signature has been recreated and correctly archived.
However, if the failure to create the signature with the message "TSE failed" appears regularly (more than once per day), please contact us and we will perform a technical check.
If the failure to create occurs every time, a configuration problem is likely. In this case, please contact our support via chat or email and tell us the frequency of the message and whether the signature has ever worked.
