Enable call tracking

Call tracking allows you to see incoming calls directly in your Belbo calendar in your business. To use call tracking, you must follow the steps below.


You can access this area via Settings > Call Tracking
If this function is not enabled, it can be enabled via "Settings > Add Function".

Requirements:

  • You use a desktop computer (Windows or Mac) that is connected to the WLAN of the router through which you also receive telephone calls.
  • You use a FritzBox
  • Customers call a landline number that also runs through the FritzBox.
  • You use the Google Chrome Browser

Step 1

For the software version, you must first install the Belbo-Satellite.



Step 2

Then click on the Belbo icon in your computer's menu bar and select "Call Tracking".

Step 3

A new page opens in your browser. Now call the phone number indicated in red here using a telephone. The display of the telephone should show "Call monitor on".

Step 4

The page should now also display "Call monitor active". Log in to the login form on the page with your Belbo account. If you have multiple locations in your Belbo calendar, you can select your current location from the list provided.

Step 6

Now click the "START CALL TRACKING NOW" button.

Completion and Testing

You can now close the page.
If not already done, enable the "Call Tracking" module in your calendar under Settings > Add Function and make the desired settings here.

From now on, incoming and outgoing calls should appear directly in your calendar. Test this by opening the Belbo calendar and calling your business number from another device (for example, your mobile phone).
If you experience problems, we recommend first restarting your computer and checking whether the display from Step 2 is green.

Outdated Antivirus Scanners

Updating your antivirus scanner can also trigger a false alarm. Disable the antivirus scanner and restart your computer to verify whether the problem persists.

Projection

The extrapolation gives you a preview of the expected sales for the current month or a definable period.

You can access this area via Settings > Statistics & Reports > Reports > Extrapolation

Function of the Extrapolation

The extrapolation allows you to estimate the expected amount of your sales within a period. For example, you can assess in the middle of the month how sales will look at the end of the month. The sales from the days up to now in the selected period serve as the basis for the estimate.

Observation Period and Calculation Basis

  • Observation period: You can specify which period you want to calculate. When you open the function, this is always the current complete month.
  • If you wish, you can limit the calculation to individual employees.
  • Calculation basis: The sales already generated in the calculation basis serve as the basis for the extrapolation. When you open the function, this is always the current month up to the current date.

Extrapolation

After you have set the desired periods, you will receive the sales preview as well as a daily statistic of the observed period.

Evaluation

The extrapolation thus answers the question "What will sales look like at the end of the month if things continue as they have been on average?". If you are dissatisfied with the preview amount, you could, for example, start additional marketing measures or encourage your employees to increase product sales.
