In order to inform your customers about news, exclusive offers or other information, you need explicit marketing consent from the customer.
What this brings you:
- Legal security: You comply with data protection regulations (GDPR) and only communicate with customers who really want it. This protects you from legal warnings.
- Higher relevance: Customers who have given their "yes" are much more interested in your content. This means for you: Higher open rates for newsletters and more bookings.
- Targeted customer care: With the consent, you can use filters to surprise, for example, only your most loyal regular customers with a special thank-you voucher.
How do you get more approvals?
If you still have many customers showing "Not clear" in the system, that's no problem!
You can update the consent at any time together with the customer:
- Digital questionnaires: With this checkbox, the customer is asked about marketing consent when filling out the questionnaire.

- Online booking: You can draw customers' attention in their online booking with a small text to grant marketing consent, for example to receive discounts. The customer can then subsequently confirm the marketing consent checkbox in their profile.

- In person / Manual entry: Even customers who do not book online themselves can give you consent. You can then set the checkbox in the customer file yourself at the location shown above.

Attention: We recommend that you have the customer sign a corresponding letter. Should the customer complain about receiving the messages, you are required to prove that the customer consented to receiving them. Marketing consent regulations and newsletter distribution are legal requirements. Disregarding them can result in severe penalties.
