Mark customer fields as trade secrets (GDPR)

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, your customers have the right to retrieve the data that is processed about them. With Belbo, you have the option to comply with this request in accordance with the law. Customers can either view their own data directly or express this request in the profile area of the booking interface. The customer then receives their data in the requested format. According to § 14 GDPR (paragraph 5), some exemption regulations apply to the data, in which professional secrecy is explicitly mentioned.

SMS OTP

If you want to ensure that the mobile phone number provided by the customer is correct, you can activate SMS-TAN. Only after entering the TAN can the user register or book appointments. Customers can neither intentionally nor accidentally enter an incorrect mobile phone number.

You can access this area via Settings > SMS TAN Procedure
If this function is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".

SMS Dispatch

Your calendar can send SMS. You can use these for automatic reminders and confirmations, as well as for TANs or mass SMS.

Customer database settings: Direct debits

In the direct debit settings, you can store your account data to be able to debit fees to be paid, such as membership fees.

Customer File: Invoices

In the billing section of the customer file, you can view all payments from the customer in the customer file.

Customers: Duplicates

If your customer database contains multiple customer files with identical characteristics, a submenu item called Duplicates is created in each of these files. If it is the same person who was accidentally entered twice, you can merge the customer files to maintain clean data.

Contracts

If you work with contracts, you can store them in the calendar and assign them to your customers.

You can access this area via Settings > Contracts.
If this function is not activated, it can be activated via "Add function".

Invitation emails

In the file card of every customer who has not yet registered for online booking, there is a prominent link "Invite customer to online booking", as soon as an email address is stored in the customer file card.

Tip: If you want to send an email newsletter with invitations to your entire customer base, use the marketing functions.

Direct Messages

In every customer file, you have the option to send direct messages to individual customers. Here you can create templates for direct messages so you don't have to compose frequently sent messages from scratch every time.

Tip: If you want to send this message to all your customers after their appointment as a matter of course, it's best to use Automatic Emails.
