You can store your product inventory in belbo to always keep an overview of your warehouse management. To update inventory more easily when receiving orders, newly received products can be scanned to increase inventory.

Goods receipt in Belbo

When you use the belbo ordering function, the number of ordered products is automatically added to the inventory of the respective product upon goods receipt.
However, you can also scan the received products.

Scan goods receipt

• Go to Settings > Prices & Competencies > Products in your belbo system.
• Click on "+Goods receipt" here.
• Scan the product with your barcode scanner.
• If the barcode has been correctly assigned to the product in belbo, it will be recognized and added to inventory. You can then simply continue scanning without performing any further confirmation.
• If the recognized barcode has not yet been assigned to any product, a dialog will appear in which you can enter details such as the product name and price, thus adding the product to your inventory.

You can store your product inventory in belbo to always keep an overview of your goods management. To make updating inventory even easier when products are consumed, used product packaging can be scanned to reduce the stored inventory.

Product consumption in Belbo

When products are sold via the cash register, the inventory of the sold goods is automatically reduced by the number of items sold.
For consumption on-site – for example with cabin goods – you can scan the consumed products. A common procedure is to collect the packaging of consumed cabin goods in a suitable container and scan them after a certain period of time (for example at the end of the day or weekend).

• Go to Settings > Prices & Skills > Products in your belbo system
• Click "+Product consumption" here
• Scan the product with your barcode scanner
• If the barcode has been correctly assigned to the product in belbo, it will be recognized and deducted from inventory.

If you want to use Belbo in your business, the right hardware is an important component of your work organization. Belbo gives you the option to choose from a variety of devices. Here we present different options for you.

Belbo is web-based. This means you can use the calendar and cash register system via the browser of any device. If you already own a device (computer or tablet) in your business, there is a good chance you can simply continue using it for Belbo.

Your company device must meet the following requirements:

Desktop or Laptop Computer

Depending on your design and price preferences, there is a wide range of computers to choose from.
For a new purchase, for example, a relatively inexpensive Windows laptop would be suitable. Please feel free to inquire at the electronics retailer of your choice. If you have a large team or many rooms and devices, it is recommended to connect a large monitor so that you can see all employees or rooms at a glance.

Note: EC terminals and receipt printers can be connected to devices running Windows or MacOS. These devices cannot be installed on Chromebooks. Chromebooks are therefore currently unsuitable for using the cash register function.

iPad and iPhone

You can also use Belbo with mobile Apple devices. To do this, download the Belbo app. If you primarily work with an iPad, it is recommended to purchase a Bluetooth keyboard, as this simplifies the entry of customer data.
If you want to use the cash register function on an iOS device, we recommend the Star mPOP cash drawer receipt printer combination.

Android Tablets and Mobile Phones

The Belbo app is also available for Android, so you can use these devices for Belbo as well.
If you want to use the cash register function on an Android device, we also recommend the Star mPOP cash drawer receipt printer combination.

Note: EC terminals cannot be connected to mobile devices (iOS / Android). If you primarily use a tablet for your cash register, the amount must be entered manually in the EC device.
