Design Booking Process

In Belbo, online booking can be designed very freely using CSS. Technical knowledge is a great advantage here. The Belbo team can help implement your desired ideas.



The booking can be enhanced with inquiry steps or images to make it easier for customers to select the right services.

Plan your own booking process

To plan the booking process, you first need a concept.

  • What questions / answer options do I want to show customers who access the booking?
  • What happens after selecting the options?
  • Do I already have all the images I want to use and do I have the necessary image rights for them?

Appointment Pressure Layout

The appointment print layout can be customized. However, the degree of customization depends on whether printer integration is used or not.



If a bond printer is used, the layout can be fully customized. This is done using placeholders.

For printing via the print dialog, however, the layout cannot be completely customized, but only an addition below the appointment details can be added.

Landing Pages

Create landing pages with specific offers that you can use for your marketing campaigns.

Application example:
You want to target new customers and plan a campaign on social media for this purpose. The new customers you address should be able to book some selected services at a particularly attractive price. Existing customers should continue to use the normal booking process with the unreduced prices.
You can access this area via Settings > Landing Pages
If this function is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".

If you want to launch targeted marketing campaigns for specific services, you can define landing pages here on which only the services included in the campaign are offered. Your normal online booking page remains unaffected and continues to behave as usual.

Create landing page

Go to the "Landing Pages" module under Settings or activate this function under "Add Function".

Click on + Landing Page to create a new landing page.


Name
Your name for this campaign to distinguish between different landing pages. The name will also be displayed to the customer in the title of the landing page.

Date limitation
If you want your landing page to be accessible only from a certain date, or only until a certain date, you can enter start and/or end dates here. If you leave the corresponding fields empty, there is no time limitation and the landing page will be accessible until you delete it again.

URL
This is the Belbo web address under which your landing page will be accessible later. If your Belbo address is "https://mycompany.belbo.com", your landing page will later be found at "https://mycompany.belbo.com/l/newcustomers". You can also find this link on the overview page of your already created landing pages:

By clicking on the link shown here, you will be taken directly to your landing page. You can also use this URL in your marketing activities to link to the page.


Staff member
If you want this marketing campaign to be bookable only with a specific staff member, you can set this here.
Attention: Please make sure that this staff member is also entered in the competency settings of the selected services.

Add services

Click on the name of the already created landing page to add services to the page.

Customers can then select this service on the landing page and book an appointment.

Evaluation

On the Landing Pages overview, you can see how many bookings were made through your landing page.

In each landing page you can also see the details of each booking:

Tip: To evaluate the number of new customers acquired, you can activate the "Daily Statistics" module.

Online Booking Settings: Information Page

If you would like to inform your customers about important news or store important general information in the online booking, you can do so using the information page.

You can access this area via Settings > Online Booking > Design > Information Page
If this function is not activated, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".

Setting up the information page

To draw your customers' attention to important information, you can write a short text and insert it under Settings > Online Booking > Design > Information Page. This way, your customers will see this information in the header area of the online booking.

Tip: You can use HTML code to format your text or add links. You can find a few basic methods here: https://tutorialehtml.com/de/html-zeilenumbruch/

Multilingualism

If you have multilingual customers, you can add additional languages for online booking and the messages your customers receive.

You can access this area via Settings > Multilingual
If this feature is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".

Once you have enabled multilingual support, you can add the desired language. Afterwards, you can use the selected language for numerous functions:

As soon as a language is enabled, your customers can select which language they speak in the online booking. Afterwards, all texts will be displayed in the desired language.
Important: You must first set the texts under Settings > Online Booking.

Set language in your services
So that your customers find the correct appointment in online booking, the names of your services must also be understandable. You can edit your services under Settings > Prices & Competencies. After clicking on the desired service, you will find the option to translate the name and description.


Set language in customer messages
Confirmation and reminder messages to your customers can also be written in multiple languages. You can do this under Settings > Customers > Edit Reminder Texts.

Custom Terms and Conditions for Online Booking

In the terms and conditions, you can specify whether your customers must accept your terms and conditions before they can make a binding appointment booking. Additionally, you can write your own terms and conditions.

You can access this area via Settings > Terms and Conditions.
If this function is not enabled, it can be activated via "Add Function".

Under Settings > Terms and Conditions you can add your terms and conditions text.

Please note that we cannot advise you on the content of your terms and conditions. Please discuss this with a specialist lawyer or your legal advisor

Terms and Conditions in Online Booking

When the terms and conditions module is active, customers must accept the terms and conditions before they can make a binding appointment booking.

Im Rechnungsdesign können Sie festlegen, wie Ihre Bons und Rechnungen gestaltet sind.

In diesen Bereich gelangen Sie über Einstellungen > Rechnungsdesign
Sollte diese Funktion nicht aktiviert sein, kann sie über „Einstellungen > Funktion hinzufügen“ aktiviert werden.

Online Booking: Texts

You can customize or supplement numerous texts in the online booking.

You can access this area via Settings > Online Booking > Texts
If this function is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".

General

Some of the texts within the booking are global and cannot be changed. However, you can determine whether you want to use the informal "you" or formal "you" form for these texts.

Start Page Text

If you link the online booking so that your customers must log in first before they can book online, you can edit the start page text.

Footer

Supplement your footer with important information about your business. This includes your website, address, or a link to your product shop.

Tip: Do not publish your phone number here. Your customers should book an appointment online themselves instead of calling you. If you want to make individual services bookable online only after telephone consultation, use the appropriate option in your services instead.

If you leave both fields empty, no footer will be displayed in your online booking.

Booking Texts

You can supplement the online booking at various points:


Fully Booked Notice
When customers click on a date in the calendar for which no appointments are available, they will see a corresponding message. If you leave this field empty, our standard message will appear (see image). You only need to fill in the text field if you want to change the text.



Text Below Price Selection
Use this area to alert customers to important information regarding the price.



Text Below Appointment Selection
Use this area to alert customers to important information regarding the booking.



Completion


General Price Notice
Important information can be placed in the context of the booking summary next to the price. Please also note the information below in this regard!



Additional Text After Successful Booking
After the customer has booked online, she receives a summary of the booking on a confirmation page. You can also add a text here to alert her to important terms and conditions.



Note: We recommend keeping the booking texts short and using them sparingly. Also include very important information in your Terms and Conditions, so you can prove to the customer that they have accepted important terms and conditions.

Online Booking Design

You can customize the images and colors of your online booking page to match your company's design.

Main Image
The main image should be representative and contain your logo. We recommend using a wide, not too tall image that fits well into your online booking page.

Recommended dimensions:

  • Width: 800 pixels
  • Height: 150 – 250 pixels

Browser Favicon
If you wish, you can add a custom browser icon. This is displayed to the user as a thumbnail in the browser tab.

Use Background Image
If you enable the background image function, you can add a background image to your online booking page after saving.

Background Color
If you don't use a background image, you can set a color that matches your company.

Button Design
To set up the buttons on your online booking page, you can use 2 different colors to achieve a gradient effect. If you don't want a gradient effect, you can specify the same color both times. We recommend bright colors that stand out well from the basic design of the page.
The text color should have good readable contrast to the button color.
