Here you will learn how to install your Epson printer on an Apple computer and connect it to Belbo. If you use other devices, please see here.
Step 1 of 3: Epson Installation
Plug the USB cable into the computer. Attention: Some printer models have 2 free USB ports. These are labeled "USB-A" and "USB-B". To connect to the computer, you must use the "USB-B" slot.

2. With a current Epson printer, you do not need an explicit driver for installation. When "adding a printer", you can use the software "Epson 24-PIN" under "Use -> Select software..."
Step 2 of 3: Satellite Installation
Now you just need to connect the printer to Belbo.
Install the Belbo Satellite software before performing the next step.
Step 3 of 3: Printer Connection in Belbo
Go to "Settings" in your Belbo calendar.
Enter "Printer connection" in the search field at the top of the page and open the "Printer connection" function.
Switch to the "Printer Configuration" tab.
Select your printer model under "Printer type".
Click "Set up printer" to find the installed printer.
Select your printer and save it.
Now you can check in the "Test Printer" tab whether printing works.
Basically, you should always use the Google Chrome browser for Belbo.
If you still need to use Belbo with Firefox, please follow this guide.
Unfortunately, Safari does not support the required features.
Installation
Step 1: Download
After downloading the driver, double-click the .dmg file you have downloaded. This will open the following dialog:
Drag the Satellite app as shown in the image into the Applications folder and then double-click the blue folder icon to open the folder.
Step 2: Installation
Click on the Belbo Satellite icon and confirm the installation again with "Open". If your computer shows you a warning, please confirm with "OK" that you want to run the application.
Step 3: Activation
Afterwards you will see a Belbo icon in the upper system menu bar. By clicking on the icon (see image), you can see the available options. Activate autostart here so that the application is automatically available even after a computer restart. To do this, click on "Autostart" once. If the option is grayed out, click on the Belbo Satellite icon again, as activating the option on first startup might take a moment before it becomes available.
The installation is now complete. For safety, check whether the icon appears in the menu bar after a computer restart and is clickable.

Security settings blocking certain apps
Allow the Satellite app to be installed in your Mac's security settings:
Click on the magnifying glass in the system menu bar or press Command + Space to open Spotlight search
Type "Security" and open the Security settings
If you see a message regarding the Satellite app here, confirm running this app
Uninstallation
First remove the autostart checkmark and then drag the "belbo-satellite" application to the trash. If you have already deleted the application, you can check under System Settings » Users & Groups » Login Items to see if "belbo-satellite" still appears there. Remove it if necessary.
