Events (Setup Times)

If you want to enter regular setup times in the schedule for employees who are present but not available for customers to book online, use events.

Example use case:
Your employees start at nine in the morning, but first need to spend 15 minutes preparing and cannot yet receive customers. These preparation times can be entered in the schedule and easily carried forward in the shift plans.
Alternative approach: Instead of entering the preparation time permanently in the schedule, you can also automatically assign a preparation time to appointments and services. This is blocked directly before the respective appointment without you having to manually maintain events for it.

Creating events in the schedule

Click on the desired day in the schedule overview and create the event. If you repeat this for all days of a shift, you can save it and carry it forward into the future.

Event in the calendar

Events are displayed in the calendar. This way, colleagues can also see that the respective employee cannot accept appointments at this time.

Schedule view for Monday, July 20 with opening hours 09:00-20:00 and two staff members (Marie and Tobias). At 09:00, a 'Preparation' event (highlighted in gray) is entered for both staff members.

Count event time as working time

If you want your event times to be counted as working time in reports and statistics when they fall outside regular working hours, you must ensure that you have activated this function in the schedule settings.
