To set up your own gift voucher shop with Belbo, you must first create gift voucher templates. You can then assign a PDF template to each gift voucher template, allowing your customers to print the voucher they purchased online, give it as a gift, or present it at their visit to you.
You can access this area via Settings > Prices & Services > Vouchers
If this function is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".
Upload PDF Template
To assign a PDF template to a voucher, first click on the desired voucher and then on the "PDF Print" submenu item. Click the + Document button and select the file from your computer or tablet.
A PDF template can be created for you by your graphic design studio. You can find our sample template here for testing and forwarding to your graphic design studio.
Set Print Coordinates
The voucher number and issue date are placed on every voucher purchased online. This is the only way your customer can redeem the voucher. In your PDF template, therefore, a sufficiently large space with a white or light background color should be provided where the code can then be placed.
First, select the View Test Voucher button under "PDF Template". You will receive a sample view of your voucher template with the voucher code placed. To adjust the placement, you can change the x and y axes as well as the font size under "Print Coordinates". After each save of the new coordinates, test the test voucher until the result meets your expectations.

You can create an online gift certificate shop with Belbo, allowing your customers to purchase and pay for gift certificates online. This generates additional revenue and provides your customers with great added value.

Requirements for the Online Gift Certificate Shop
The following settings are required to use the Belbo gift certificate shop:
The gift certificate module is active. On the Settings page you will see the "Gift Certificates & Discounts" function. If the function is not active, you can activate it under Settings > Add Function.
The gift certificates to be sold have been created. When the "Gift Certificates" function is active, you can create your gift certificate templates under Settings > Prices & Competencies > Gift Certificates.
Your online payment is set up and ready. An active Stripe or PayPal merchant account is set up under Settings > Online Payment.

Activate the gift certificate shop under "Settings" by typing "gift certificate shop" in the search field at the top of the page or clicking the "Add Function" button.
When a gift certificate is sold, a gift certificate sales email is sent. This can be customized under Settings » Gift Certificate Shop » Confirmation Email and can be provided with text. Describe any special features of the gift certificate here (redemption period, etc.).

Once all steps are completed, it is recommended to test the gift certificate shop. To do this, you can go to your online booking and add "/gift-certificates" to the URL. The gift certificate shop is also always visible in the navigation for logged-in customers.

Selling Discounted Gift Certificates
If you want to give your customers a discount on the purchase of gift certificates, you can set this for each gift certificate template.
Example use case:
You want to sell a gift certificate that has a value of 100,- but a price of 90,-.
Go to "Gift Certificates" under Settings > Prices & Competencies.
Click on the desired gift certificate and select the "Properties" tab.
Enable the "Gift Certificate Value" checkbox here and enter a value – in our example 100,-.
Switch to the "Price" tab and enter the price that the customer should actually pay – in our example 90,-.
