wallee Terminal: Activate ZVT and connect with Belbo

The ZVT connection for wallee terminals is currently in beta phase. The basic functionality (transfer amount, trigger payment) works, but individual functions may still be limited. If you experience any problems, please contact Belbo Support.

This guide describes how to enable the ZVT service on a wallee terminal so that the terminal can be controlled directly from Belbo. Configuration is done directly on the device using the wallee POS Connector app.

Requirements

The wallee ZVT connection works from both computer and iPad. The requirements differ depending on the device:

Computer (Windows / Mac)

  • Belbo Satellite Software is installed on the computer (Belbo Satellite instructions).
  • Computer and wallee terminal are in the same WLAN network.
  • The terminal has a fixed (static) IP address – this must be configured in the router.
  • You have your wallee license key at hand (provided by wallee).

iPad (Belbo App)

  • The connection is established directly via the Belbo App – a separate Satellite installation is not required.
  • iPad and wallee terminal are in the same WLAN network.
  • The terminal has a fixed (static) IP address – this must be configured in the router.
  • You have your wallee license key at hand (provided by wallee).

Step 1: Open POS Connector App

Open the POS Connector app on the wallee terminal. This app establishes the connection between the terminal and the POS system. If the app is not installed, please contact wallee Support.

Tap the Settings icon (bottom right) on the terminal's home screen and navigate to the Android application settings.

Step 2: Scan License Key

Scan the license key received from wallee with the terminal's integrated scanner. If you no longer have your license key, please contact wallee customer service.

Step 3: Configure Payment Interface

In the POS Connector app, all three services (Payment Interface, ZVT, OPI) are initially displayed in red, as no configuration has been set up yet.

Tap Payment Interface and select wallee as your preferred gateway. Confirm the selection.

Step 4: Activate ZVT Service

Return to the POS Connector app overview and tap ZVT. Enter the following values:

  • IP Address: The terminal's fixed IP address on the network
  • Port: The terminal's ZVT port (ask wallee for this)
  • Password: By default 123456 (can be changed if desired)
You can find the exact values for IP address and port via the wallee administration interface or the wallee hotline. The terminal must be configured in the router with a fixed IP so that the address remains stable.

Step 5: Set Up Connection in Belbo

Once ZVT is enabled on the terminal, set up the connection in Belbo:

  1. Open Settings > Card Terminal in Belbo.
  2. Select your device as a ZVT terminal.
  3. Enter the terminal's IP address and port.
  4. Check the connection via the Communication Test tab.
