wallee Terminal: Enable ZVT and connect with Belbo

The ZVT integration for wallee terminals is currently in beta phase. Basic functionality (transfer amount, trigger payment) works, but some functions may still be limited. If you experience problems, please contact Belbo Support.

This guide describes how to activate the ZVT service on a wallee terminal so that the terminal can be controlled directly from Belbo. Configuration is performed directly on the device via wallee's POS Connector app.

Requirements

The wallee ZVT integration works from both computer and iPad. The requirements differ depending on the device:

Computer (Windows / Mac)

  • Belbo Satellite Software is installed on the computer (Belbo Satellite Guide).
  • Computer and wallee terminal are on the same WLAN network.
  • The terminal has a fixed (static) IP address – this must be configured in the router.
  • You have your wallee license key on hand (obtained from wallee).

iPad (Belbo App)

  • The connection is established directly via the Belbo App – a separate Satellite installation is not required.
  • iPad and wallee terminal are on the same WLAN network.
  • The terminal has a fixed (static) IP address – this must be configured in the router.
  • You have your wallee license key on hand (obtained from wallee).

Step 1: Open POS Connector App

Open the POS Connector app on the wallee terminal. This app establishes the connection between the terminal and the cash register system. If the app is not installed, contact wallee support.

On the terminal's home screen, tap the Settings icon (bottom right) and navigate to the Android application settings.

Step 2: Scan License Key

Scan the license key provided by wallee using the terminal's integrated scanner. If you no longer have the license key, contact wallee customer service.

Step 3: Configure Payment Interface

In the POS Connector app, all three services (Payment Interface, ZVT, OPI) are initially displayed in red because no configuration has been added yet.

Tap on Payment Interface and select wallee as your preferred gateway. Confirm the selection.

Step 4: Activate ZVT Service

Return to the POS Connector app overview and tap on ZVT. Enter the following values:

  • IP address: The fixed IP address of the terminal on the network
  • Port: The ZVT port of the terminal (inquire with wallee)
  • Password: Default 123456 (can be changed if desired)

You can obtain the exact values for IP address and port via the wallee administration interface or the wallee hotline. The terminal must be configured in the router with a static IP to ensure the address remains stable.

Step 5: Set Up Connection in Belbo

Once ZVT is activated on the terminal, set up the connection in Belbo:

  1. In Belbo, open Settings > Card Terminal.
  2. Select your device as a ZVT terminal.
  3. Enter the IP address and port of the terminal.
  4. Check the connection via the Communication Test tab.
