Pre- and Post-Preparation Times

With the pre- and post-processing times, you automatically create breaks before and/or after each appointment. The post-processing time gives you rest or cleaning breaks after an appointment, while the pre-processing time blocks time immediately before it.

You can access this area via Settings > Pre- and Post-Processing Times
If this function is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".

Meaning of Post-Processing Time

If you need a break after each appointment, you can enable this function and specify any duration for your break.

Every appointment booked by colleagues or customers automatically receives the break afterwards. This is not visible to customers booking online.

Meaning of Pre-Processing Time

The pre-processing time blocks a defined number of minutes before the actual appointment for the employee or equipment. This time is also not visible to customers booking online, so you have sufficient scope for preparations without restricting online booking for your customers.

Setting Up Post-Processing Time

First, set the duration of the post-processing time that will be added to your appointments. We recommend a commonly used duration that fits most of your services. In the next step, special regulations can also be set for individual services.

Post-Processing Times with Room Blocking

If you have created rooms and equipment in Belbo, you can use the additional options offered on the overview page. These are explained in detail in this article.

Individual Post-Processing Time for Individual Services

In the overview of your post-processing times, you can see all your services and the post-processing time planned for them.

If you have services that require a different or no post-processing time, you can set this for each service individually.

  1. Click on the desired service
  2. Under "Time Settings", select the option "Define Individual Post-Processing Time" and enter the desired duration of the individual post-processing time.
  3. Save your settings

The settings configured here override the settings configured in the Pre- and Post-Processing module.

Setting Up Pre-Processing Time

You will find the setting for pre-processing time in the same area as the post-processing time. Set the desired duration that should be placed before your appointments.

Individual Pre-Processing Time for Individual Services

Just as with post-processing time, you can set a different pre-processing time for individual services. To do this, open the desired service and select the option "Define Individual Pre-Processing Time" under "Time Settings" and enter the desired duration.

The settings configured here override the settings configured in the Pre- and Post-Processing module.

Appointment Follow-up

With the settings in appointment follow-up, you have the option to automatically add blocking times at the end of an appointment. These are blocked in terms of time and prevent a direct follow-up appointment. The goal could be:

  • Recovery time for employees
  • Recovery time for customers
  • Cleaning of rooms

You can access this area via Settings > Preparation and follow-up times
If this function is not activated, it can be activated via "Settings > Add function".
In addition to the follow-up time described here, you can also add a preparation time before appointments. Learn more here.

Depending on the goal, you can select various options, some of which are only relevant if multiple employees, rooms or equipment are involved in the appointment.

Below we consider the following service:
