EC - Terminal Device - CCV Mobile

This guide explains how to prepare a CCV Mobile terminal for direct connection to Belbo. The settings are configured once directly on the device.

You perform this setup once on the terminal. For instructions on how to set up the terminal in Belbo afterwards, see the general guide: Connect ZVT terminal with Belbo

Requirements

  • You are using Belbo on a computer (Windows or Mac) or an iPad.
  • The terminal is already in operation and manual payments have been successfully completed.
  • Terminal and computer/iPad are on the same WLAN network.

Step 1 of 4: Open Menu

All relevant settings are located under Favorites → Menu → Administration. Navigate there and then select Cash Register.

Step 2 of 4: Disable "Local Cash Register"

In the Local Cash Register section, disable this option (remove the checkmark).

Why? "Local Cash Register" means the terminal operates as a standalone, offline system. This must be disabled so it can receive commands from Belbo.

Step 3 of 4: Configure Terminal Connection and Receipt Printing

Go back to the Terminal Connection view and remove both checkmarks there.

Terminal connection – disable both checkmarks

Now check the box for Receipt control by terminal (Belegst. d. Term.). Two additional options will appear – remove both additional checkmarks.

Why? "Receipt control by terminal" gives the terminal control over receipt printing. The two additional options would redirect the print via the cash register – this is not desired here, so remove both.
Enable receipt control by terminal, remove additional checkmarks

Step 4 of 4: Set Terminal Type to ZVT

Set the Terminal Type to ZVT. This activates the ZVT protocol, through which Belbo communicates with the terminal.

Next Step: Set Up Connection in Belbo

The terminal is now prepared for ZVT. Now set up the connection in Belbo. You will need the IP address of the terminal (read from the router) and the port (typically 20007 for the CCV Mobile – if in doubt, contact CCV support).
