EC - Terminal Device - CCV Mobile

This guide explains how to prepare a CCV Mobile terminal for direct connection to Belbo. The settings are made once directly on the device.

You will configure this setup once on the terminal. The general guide describes how to set up the terminal in Belbo afterwards: Connect ZVT Terminal with Belbo

Prerequisites

  • You are using Belbo on a computer (Windows or Mac) or an iPad.
  • The terminal is already in operation and manual payments have been successfully processed.
  • The terminal and computer/iPad are in the same WLAN network.

Step 1 of 4: Open Menu

All relevant settings are located under Favorites → Menu → Administration. Navigate there and then select Cash Register.

Step 2 of 4: Deactivate "Local Cash Register"

In the Local Cash Register section, deactivate this option (remove the checkmark).

Why? "Local Cash Register" means the terminal runs as a standalone, offline system. This must be deactivated so it can receive commands from Belbo.

Step 3 of 4: Configure Cash Register Connection and Receipt Printing

Go back to the Cash Register Connection view and remove both checkmarks there.

Cash Register Connection – deactivate both checkmarks

Now set the checkmark for Receipt Control by Terminal. Two additional options will appear – remove both additional checkmarks.

Why? "Receipt Control by Terminal" gives the terminal control over bond printing. The two additional options would redirect printing through the cash register – this is not desired here, so remove both.

Activate receipt control by terminal, remove additional checkmarks

Step 4 of 4: Set Terminal Type to ZVT

Set the Terminal Type to ZVT. This activates the ZVT protocol through which Belbo communicates with the terminal.

Next Step: Set Up Connection in Belbo

The terminal is now prepared for ZVT. Now set up the connection in Belbo. You will need the IP address of the terminal (read from the router) and the port (usually 20007 for CCV Mobile – if in doubt, contact CCV support).
