With the Belbo Barometer you can analyze your sales. Here we have compiled some frequently asked questions about the barometer.
What does "Other Sales" mean at the bottom of the barometer?
Under "Other Sales" all services are listed for which you have not created your own barometer assignment. Basically, all your services are sorted here until you make an assignment. If you don't need your own barometer structure, you don't need to do anything here.

- Click on the blue linked sales figure under "Other Sales". A dialog will open showing you which of your services currently fall under "Other Sales" (the dark linked services).
- Click on the name of a dark linked service to open it.
- In the "Evaluation Group" tab you can select the correct assignment(s).

Example of a service without its own barometer groups assigned:

The sum of the individual lines is not = displayed total
Reason 1: Multiple barometer assignment
If you have created your own barometer groups, it is not uncommon for the total sum shown in the header area of the barometer to not equal the sum of all categories. This is usually because you have services that fall into 2 or more of your categories.
- The service "Female Facial Care" has its own barometer group "Female Cosmetics".
- The service "Male Facial Care" has its own barometer group "Male Cosmetics".
Reason 2: Gender in the customer file is not correctly maintained
If you try to add up the total female and male sales and do not arrive at the figure shown under "Total Sales", it may be that the genders in your customer files are not correctly maintained. In this case, correct calculation of female and male sales cannot take place.
The sales figure under "Total" is still correct!
Reason 3: You sell service packages
Service packages are not marked separately.
