Customers have a statutory right of withdrawal for bookings and purchases they complete online (so-called distance contracts). This information obligation is displayed in Belbo online booking and in online shops via the integrated help function.
How Belbo implements the withdrawal information
Through the help center for customers, your customers are informed about their right of withdrawal during online booking or when shopping in the shop. The following video explains how this function is concretely implemented in Belbo starting at minute 9:35:
Waiver of the right of withdrawal for short-notice appointments
If a customer books an appointment at short notice, i.e. less than 14 days in advance, the statutory right of withdrawal cannot be fully exercised due to the short time until the appointment. In this case, Belbo requires an explicit waiver of the right of withdrawal during online booking – without this consent, the appointment cannot be booked.
Check activation
For the withdrawal information to be displayed correctly to your customers, the help center for customers must be activated. Check this under Settings > Online Booking > Basic Settings > Customer Help Center.
