Dwell Times Additional Settings

Specify whether short services can be inserted into processing time so that the total duration of the appointment is not extended.

You can access this area via Settings > Processing Time Additional Settings
If this function is not enabled, it can be activated via "Settings > Add Function".

Application example:
You offer short additional services such as eyebrow plucking or lash tinting alongside elaborate colorations. These additional services can automatically be inserted into the processing time of the coloration instead of being performed after the main service.

Define behavior of additional services

To specify whether a short service can also be performed within processing time, first access the service that should be inserted into the processing time.

  • Go to the desired short service under Settings > Prices and Competencies.
  • Click on the submenu item "Time Settings"
  • Under "Processing Times", specify how the service behaves when booked together with a main service that includes processing time.

If you don't see the fields shown above, please first activate the "Processing Time Additional Settings" function under "Settings > Add Function".

Variants

You can specify exactly how the additional service should behave.

Examples of the behavior of additional services:

Without additional settings

Services for which no additional settings are created behave completely "normally". They are entered in the calendar in the order you select them, or in the case of online booking by the customer according to Service Sequence.
→ This is suitable for services like makeup, which are entered after the main service is fully completed.

Service can be inserted into processing time.

This setting inserts the additional service into the processing time and does not extend the total appointment duration. The additional service is performed while, for example, the coloration is already processing.
→ This is suitable for services like eyebrow plucking, which can be performed during processing time.

Perform service before processing time.

This setting extends the total appointment by the duration of the additional service. However, the additional service is scheduled directly before the start of processing time.
→ This is suitable for services like a special color, which must be performed directly before processing time.

Perform service after processing time.

This setting extends the total appointment by the duration of the additional service. However, the additional service is scheduled directly after the end of processing time.
→ This is suitable for services like special care, which must be performed directly after processing time.

Overview

Under Settings > Processing Time Additional Settings > Overview you can see those services that have an additional setting.
